Safe Power respects our customers’ privacy. We do require personal information from our customers to supply the services we offer. This Privacy Policy has been created in alignment with the Privacy Act 2020 (Section No.22).

This information will only be used to complete the work requested by the customer on behalf of their client. Clients’ personal information is subject to the same privacy policies we apply to our customers.

To provide the services we offer, we may require the following information from our customers alongside relevant site and network requirements:

Billing customer details:

• Company address

Electrician details:

• Company name

• Contact name

• Contact phone number

• Email

Energy Retailer account details:

• Name on account

• First and last name (if different from above)

• Contact phone number (of account holder)

• Email address (of account holder)

• Address and suburb (of account holder)

• Energy retailer account number

Provision of the above information is voluntary. Note: We will not be able to provide our services without the above information.

With whom may we share this personal information with

The personal information we collect is shared with our staff to complete the services we’ve been engaged for. We may share personal information with the following organisations for us to obtain approvals to complete the services:

• Subcontractors

• The Orion and/or MainPower Network

• Your nominated energy retailer

Your information will not be shared with any other third parties except where required by law or with your explicit consent. We will not sell or lease the personal information we collect.

How we keep your information safe

Your personal information is secured in a digital database on our server. Only authorised employees have access to your files. We maintain an internet firewall and managed antivirus software to take reasonable steps to prevent our digital database from being compromised.

Requesting a copy of your personal information

You can request a copy of the personal information we possess relevant to you at any time. You may also request that we correct any personal information that you believe is inaccurate.
